So fun to read. The perfect format for the stories he wanted to tell. 

I’m not sure how to review this book. I really appreciated the worldbuilding and cozy tone, but the writing became cloying after a while. Many parts of the world sounded like an absolute nightmare to me, even though I appreciated the author's effort in building them. Just like the first one, the third person pronouns were super confusing. Overall, I don’t think this works very well as a story. No plot, just vibes, and the vibes were weird.

It's like reverse Stepford Wives, I loved it.

A book hasn’t made me this angry in a long time, so it has that going for it, I guess
