4.5 - This was such a quick read! Compared to other thrillers, the pacing was really well done & kept me on my toes. I enjoyed reading from the different viewpoints - Hannah, Rachel & podcast. I am unfamiliar with true crime podcasts to compare if what Rachel was doing was good or bad? It did seem that some of the “episodes” would be rather short based off the writing. But as always, I am surprised by the endings & got it wrong. Also, the book cover - gorgeous!

4.5 - Audiobook: Started listening to this while cleaning this morning and well here we are. There were times I told myself I would pause and save the rest for another day but I kept getting pulled back in. This was a pleasantly enjoyable YA book that took place over a day with some flashbacks thrown in. I would’ve given this a 5 if Rowan and Neil got together sooner because once they did, it was magical. And yes I know that’s part of the story for it to build but still!!!

Absolutely adored the audiobook of this!! I was totally invested in Ben & Arthur’s relationship and the up & downs that come with it. This is Arthur’s first relationship and to hear his nervousness & apprehension took me back to my younger days when all that was new. I cannot wait for the sequel to come out later this year! I also hope they use the same actors to narrate the audiobook.

3.5 - This was my second audiobook, I think listening to it made it harder to follow. There was a lot going on: crush, death, illness, curses & drama! Overall though I was still invested in the curse & mostly Alaine’s relationship with her family, primarily her mother. It was nice to see the story end on high note.

This was my first audio book! I wasn’t sure what to expect. At first it was hard to focus (I also have been working while listening) but I got into a groove and was sucked in! This was such a cute, fluffy romance book that I think was perfect for my first audiobook.

This book was absolutely fabulous!!!! I laughed, I cried and it was filled with so much love. If you need an entertaining read, this is the book for you!

Audiobook: It is really important to me to continue diversifying my book choices and with that, this is my first book that featured a transgender character. I really enjoyed listening to the audiobook & thought it was important that Pony was read by a transgender individual. The book talks of the struggle of wanting to be accepted. The book follows the tale of popular girl falls for the new kid & cannot accept that they are just way too different. The book ended on a high. It is not a perfect book but it still was enjoyable as well as educating me.

Audiobook: What a unique enemy to lover story!! I love the dynamic between Olive and Ethan. I felt like it was pretty obvious that Ethan was into Olive early on. Listening to the steamy parts while working definitely made me feel blush. Her sister & boyfriend and even Ethan had me raging at one point. I also loved the ending! I won’t spoil but I love how the epilogue was from Ethan’s point of view.

3.75 - Audiobook: No spoiler but the ending was not what I was expecting! We have a young woman named Anna who confesses to a murder of a girl she barely knew. She doesn’t remember the night that Zoe was killed but believes she did it until new evidence comes to light. One thing I really liked with the audio of this is the different voices used during the podcast chapters to give the sense of interviews. Enjoyable listen! Not quite a 4 but I think it deserved more than a 3.5.

Audiobook - I will admit that this one was a hard to get into via audiobook. Too many characters mentioned and the going back and forth between past and present. But once I got it all straight I was sold and so invested! This was my first thriller to listen to and won’t be my last. Jill, a senior who is in an elite club at her private high school still dealing with the death of her best friend 3 years prior. Throughout the book we learn of the rituals of the new recruits and how they are being gazed all while Jill reliving her own & others hazings which ultimately killed Shalia. We are led to believe that Shalia’s killer is locked up but new clues state otherwise & the guessing game begins! I am looking forward to seeing this adaptation to screen.
