There is something very interesting about the para sensitives. I've read a few before by the same author. I like how she holds the suspense until the last minute.
In this story, it's not just Clare and Jack who have the lead roles. Elizabeth, Archer, and Myra also play an important part and that brings the story together.
I like how Clare has her theory about lying all sorted out. Imagine being a human lie detector.
Jack, of course, is the typical alpha male, a hunter of criminals.
Looking forward to reading more from this series.

There sure is something about reading winter stories in summer. :)
I like the way the story progressed, without too much fuss and misunderstandings.
Oscar and Boots were the cutest.
And as a bonus, I got three versions of fruitcake recipes to try. The fourth star is exclusively for the recipes.
An easy read.

I am one of those people who read Winter stories in Summer. I like to read about snow when I am probably facing a heat stroke.
The stories were simple and sweet to read. No too many complications or confusions. Though I like to have a villain in the story, I do enjoy reading the ones without.

A semi Cinderella story with a Santa type man thrown in twice. For a novella this a simple and fun book to read.
