Right. I read this series in reverse, so this ended up being the last book. I don't regret it though. All the books have only one thing in common. The male leads are obsessed with the breasts of female leads. Something other than lust would have been good to read. It gets boring after a point of time. Thankfully, all the books are short.
Okay, so this one was highly predictable and kind of boring. Mainly because I could not really feel either Cindi's or Jemery's emotions. All the right words were there- hurt, turmoil, pain, etc but I wasn't affected by any of those.
I angle of religion did not add much to the story though it could have given it the depth the story desperately needed.
I usually like to reread books, but not this one. It is purely a one time read.

It was okay. The concept of family was well written but it would have been better if the hubby, Ted was something more than a few words and a background character. His activities were narrated in a passive voice and a little more drama from his side might have added the story a good touch. Same with the hero's ex-wife.
The hero sure had more demons than he could handle. His attitude of jumping to conclusions and grouping all females as liers & gold-diggers is irritating.
I liked how the heroine stood her ground to an extent.
