Green River Killer: A True Detective Story

Jonathan Case, Jeff Jensen

DID NOT FINISH: 8%

Didn't vibe with the art style and the timeline of the narrative was very difficult to follow.

This might be my favorite of the series! Loved the kids and the tropes so very much.

Better than Beautifully Broken Spirit. I liked the exploration of guilt surrounding the actions of parents and the effects their actions can still have on adult children. The thriller-y plotline was really good and made a ton of sense. Overall, a really good read.

A little bit of a letdown after Beautifully Broken Life was so good. There are some tropes I'm not a huge fan of, but they're okay. The plot was not memorable at all to me. I finished this a day ago and the main characters are very clear in my mind, but the suspenseful subplot is totally gone from my memory.

Absolutely LOVED Tessa and Liam together. The subjects of domestic abuse, the privilege of the rich, and the pressures that come with celebrity were handled beautifully! A sequel that was better than the first, in my opinion.

An easy, enjoyable read. Enjoyed the characters and the progression of their romance. The murder-y plotline was interesting and there was a pretty good twist at the end.

Disturbing subject matter; READ TRIGGER WARNINGS!

The author definitely succeeded in making me very uncomfortable, but also making me empathize with the characters.

Interesting and had really good discussions. The end was just plain weird and really came out of left field. I get it but was also generally confused by it.

Messed up in a really good way. Enjoyed the format of the book. The twists and turns kept me guessing until the end.

Had me hooked from the very beginning! The premise was intriguing and I loved the execution. I was yelling at the main character so much toward the end! The author succeeded in getting me really invested in the story.
