Nothing wrong with the stories; it's very rare for me to enjoy short stories or short story collections.

I adored absolutely everything about the main plot of this book. Everything was so well-researched. This is also the only time I have encountered a childbirth scene written from the point of view of the MMC. As someone who just went through labor and did a ton of research and classes beforehand, everything described was SPOT ON.

The ONLY reason this didn't get 5 stars is for the intimate scenes. Some of the phrasing and word choices made me uncomfortable. Honestly, It would have been a 5-star if they were never included.

 Loved the characters and story. I feel so called out as a gifted kid, though. Seriously relate to Colin when it comes to expectations placed on you by both your parents and then yourself.
