This was honestly such a unique concept! I was hooked from the Prologue. The heart strings were tugged instantly. I felt invested throughout the entire story. And the CLIFFHANGER IS INSANE

Let me start by saying that I did NOT read the first two in the series and that did impact my overall enjoyment. The gaps were filled very well and I don't feel like I was missing information, but I would have appreciated the relationships between everyone so much more had I read the first two in the series. So, while this can be read as a standalone, I don't necessarily recommend it.

That being said, I absolutely loved this!! The relationship between Adam and Trix was amazing. You really felt the chemistry immediately. Both of the issues keeping them apart were realistic for the characters and I didn't feel like the burn was too slow before they got together.
