“Gods, Sor. I’ll always choose you. Even if it kills me.” 🫠😍

When I started this ARC, I told myself that I was gonna do a better job when it came to using the highlighter tool and taking notes… That was a lie; and it wouldn’t be the only lie that I told myself that night. When Feathers Fall captivated my attention so well that I was completely oblivious to my surroundings. Just when I thought I would be able to reach a stopping point or was telling myself “one more chapter“ another twist happened and before I knew it, it was 3:00 on a Friday morning, I hadn’t even had dinner and had to leave for work in 4 hours.

I love that Sorrena was written to be a little unpredictable, quick witted, and untrusting of others. She carries a lot of burden on herself, which is the eldest daughter I can relate to. She may be quick tempered, but she doesn’t always show it, but lucky for us- we get to see her thoughts; which had me chuckling because I agreed with her. We have a few MMC‘s that I’m hoping we get to learn more about in the second book but so far I have to say my favorite is Rhydian. 😍 He’s broody and mysterious, and overall the silent type and I love a broody MMC. From the beginning, I didn’t like or trust Maeron; I think he’s a little suspicious and an overall bad, poisonous apple.

I see an opening for possibly three love interests but I could be wrong since I didn’t see that final twist coming. I truly loved this book but now I have a longer wait for the next book. N. M. Peterson did a phenomenal job and I can’t wait to see what comes next.

ARC Review-
“Sure, baby, I’ll beg if you want me to.” 😍😍🫠

As someone who reads a lot of dark romance, I also enjoy a good contemporary romance. This book didn't disappoint with the small town vibes and grumpy next door neighbor. The Summer For Us, gives us a little of the predictability we all expect from a contemporary romance, but also left enough room for us to try and build their story ourselves.

If you have ever wondered if you're too much or not enough, this would make for a good read. I love now open Jules was with
her insecurity because it's something every woman has had to deal with. That dose of Karma was one I hoped for, but didn’t expect to see.

I only have one question.. where can I find my Wesley? While rough around the edges... that man is caring and thoughtful. Talk about swoon worthy!

This book was so cute. I love books that give the Hallmark Romance movie vibes and this didn't disappoint.

They say it takes a village to raise children, which is exactly why Luz and her 3 kiddos moved to Willow Creek; to be closer to her brother and his fiancé. Luz wanted a fresh start and had applied to be a firefighter and paramedic working under a rugged, trauma filled fire Chief, Ian. Who, based on his past, really didn't want a single mom on the team. Watching these two fall in love and work through their past traumas was perfection.

I love how Andrea took the time to slowly introduce Ian to Luz's children, to show the struggles of a teen boy who was the "man of the house"as he adjusts to having another father figure around.

This was the first time I’ve been to Willow Creek, and I’m so thrilled to have been given this ARC because now I want to read the rest of the Willow Creek books.

It’s rare that a book leaves me completely speechless, but Allie absolutely accomplished that with Treacherous Flames. From the very first page, I was hooked and by the end, I was left jaw-dropped and desperate for more. Honestly, the fact that we don’t already have the next book feels like a personal attack 😅

The dynamic between the characters is chef’s kiss. All three of the deliciously swoony MMCs bring their own unique energy to the table, creating a perfect balance for Avani- our fierce, curvy, and delightfully sassy FMC. Avani’s open-hearted acceptance of the guys’ past connection made me melt. She’s bold, compassionate, and unafraid to embrace love in all its forms.

The slow-burn tension between Avani and Kai had me immediately invested, and just when I thought I couldn’t love this story more, enter Bea and Ryker. 🤤 The chemistry? Off the charts. And let’s be honest, I have a strong feeling we’ve only scratched the surface with those two. There’s definitely more depth and history waiting to be revealed.

I haven’t read the Daughters of the Keeper series yet, but you absolutely don’t need to in order to enjoy Treacherous Flames. That said, I’ve officially added it to my June TBR to dig deeper into the world-building and lore.

This book has it all…steam, soul, suspense; I can’t wait to see where the story goes next. Allie, you have me in a chokehold. Please send help... or just the sequel. That works too. 💀🔥

Emotions can be hard, even ugly like grief; but what would the world be like if we never got to experience happiness, love, loss, and sorrow?

Eden’s Rise shows us what life would be like without control of our emotions. We follow Ziva and Myall as they start to rebel against The Authority and the NeuroMod devices. They truly risk everything so that the world can have joy and laughter again.

There have been a few times that I’ve wondered what it would be like to not have to feel everything. Tristen did a phenomenal job of building a world just like that and while it makes for a great read, I wouldn't want to live like that.

This book consumed me and I'm so blessed Tristen gave me this ARC.

The story centers around a marriage alliance between Viviana Falcone, an artistic, easygoing mafia daughter who loves women, and Lucius Andrade, the son of a cartel boss. Despite Viviana’s disinterest, sparks begin to fly between Lucius and her icy, business-savvy sister Kayla. Their chemistry could disrupt the power dynamics of New York’s criminal underworld.

I found myself chuckling out loud and gasping several times. Katie takes us on a journey throughout this story and I am here for it! I think this would make a perfect read for someone who is just entering the mafia romance genre 💖

Katie, thank you for honoring me with an ARC. I can’t wait to see what else you come up with!

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of Burning Souls and I absolutely loved it. I love dark romance and when Jess said this one was dark, she wasn’t playing around. While I don’t have triggers, PLEASE check your trigger warnings.

We get to experience Ash as she handles the trauma from her past. Jessie, Tobias, and Sean all help keep her grounded while providing her with new toys 😉 to play with; they are giving her a chance to release her inner “crazy”. 🔪 Ash is making the world a little safer for women and children, one person at a time.

Jess gives us the dark romance, why-choose world that we didn’t know we needed. I feel like tossing someone out of a window after that cliffhanger. IYKYK…🫠

"Do you want me to tell you no one-mate or not- has loved anyone the way that I love you? That I would laugh as the world fell apart as long as you stood by my side? That even if I could only have one f-cking night- one night pretending you're mine- I'd take it?"

If you thought Sophia had her claws into during book 1, oh babes...hold on for the ride. With the ending of book 1, I immediately had to dive into book 2- forgoing sleep because who needs it?

We pick up exactly where we ended book 1- After the ultimate betrayal and facing yet another banishment; Lessia, Meririck, and a few others trek to another isle seeking safety while they process everything. Raine, Merrick’s friend from another lifetime, offers them the refuge they seek; where King Rioner can’t get to them. While devastated and healing, Lessia continues her training with Merrick so she is prepared to fight if it comes down to it. Lessia is reunited with someone she thought she would never see again, learns about a prophecy that may help them, and makes an unlikely new friend. While Merrick is still growly and grumpy as ever (which I love), we gained insight into who he is and what shaped him. I only have one question- will the prophecy come true or will fate take control yet again?

Sophia has blessed us with a captivating storyline and world, two morally grey MMCs 😍, and a strong FMC who doesn't back down. Can it get any better? While this one started out a little slow for me, Sophia kept me interested enough to keep going and I'm so glad I did.

"I'm not the begging type, Lessia. But if you need me to, I'll get on my knees. I'm already risking everything. I don't mind throwing my pride into the ring as well."

Locked into a blood oath with a vile king, banished to the human isle, and being half-fae/ half-human, Lessia doesn't let it keep her down. She wants to make a better life for those like her so that they can have a sense of belonging. When the king makes a demand for Lessia to join the local election for Regent, she nominates herself and is accompanied by her secretive, grumpy, morally grey fae guard Merrick. Unable to escape the blood oath, Lessia has to battle the trials and tribulations of the election process while keeping her true purpose hidden from the other nominees. When things at the castle start getting a little murderous, she isn't sure who she can trust. Merrick? Sworn to the king. The current Regent, Loche? Extremely secretive and clearly hiding something big. We get to follow along with Lessia as she faces her fears, and new found feelings for Loche. Will Loche find out the truth of who she really is?

“I’m so in love with you, it’s made me sick” SWOON 😍

This book sucked me in quickly and had me captivated by all the twists and turns. It also reminded me that phrasing is everything because Faeries can’t lie, but they can keep a secret 🤫😉 The banter? Hands down, top notch 🔥 and I love the morally grey men (yes, as in plural)

I cannot wait for the second book to be released!
