Interesting stuff. I feel like I could really like these characters with some more time given to them.

This book is real cute! Alexa's insecurities are so real, and I loved reading this book filled with her moments of self-doubt and self-love, her hopes, dreams, fears, flaws and triumphs. I'm all about Alexa!

Finally finished off this horror magazine I started at the beginning of the year. Most of the short stories, especially Joe Hill's Snapshot were creepy enjoyable reads. A few of the stories leaned a bit heavily for my taste on the protagonists acting in weird horror story ways, which I found unsatisfying. The non-fiction for the most part was lackluster, most especially the essay bemoaning how PC culture is ruining things blah blah which left a sour taste in my mouth.

Lara Jean is startlingly immature but I still mostly enjoyed reading her story here. The sister dynamic and importance placed on those relationships was something I really appreciated, and the love triangle was not one of the worst.

A soft and sad sort of slow suspense novel. Sheers writes beautifully, and despite my complaints about the way the story began with quite the hook and then told a hundred pages of backstory, the shape of the story was well suited to its telling. I picked this book up randomly on sale a while ago and immediately kind of wished I'd resisted it, but then this weekend I felt inspired to pick it back up and now I'm glad I read it.

Loved as always, a delightful addition to this series.

This book was so complex and wonderful, I absolutely loved reading it.

I love this book and Rao's writing and these two girls and their light and I am enraged and lifted by this story.

Heartbreaking and beautifully crafted, I'm again so impressed with Jacqueline Woodson's writing.
