Spider is such a precious cinnamon roll.

Quite enjoyed this volume. The conflict with the election was the most sustained arc yet and Spider continues to be a great character.

I liked that they introduced another character (although I guess we'll see where that goes at this point) and I certainly continue to be engaged by this comic. I dislike in general comics without much plot, and an overarching plot hasn't really developed here yet, but I hear it will. The setting is created very nicely though, and Spider is as well. I appreciate that he's a mix of likable in the ways he's challenging the corruption of the city, but also brutal and unkind in his own right.

I've wanted to read Transmetropolitan for a long time, without really knowing what it's about or anything. I enjoy the gritty setting and the densely packed commentary and absurdity that makes up this comic. Looking forward to finding out where it goes from here, as the first few issues seem to primarily set up the setting.

Beautiful as always. And I'm pretty excited about the stuff we're getting into. Hope there's time for greater depth to be given to these discussions about appropriateness, as well as to further flesh out the characters' pasts.

Gillen/McKelvie create a great story from the interlocked issues of the Singles Club. The progression of the story, details fitting into place slowly as they are revealed in later issues, was really well executed. One issue just made it for me though and that was Lust, etc. Powerful and moving. Absolutely loved it.

This issue was created by remixing art from old issues!!!! An idea I love, especially since it is so well executed here I didn't even notice until told. Finally getting Woden's story was very exciting, even though he's fairly awful. Although this issue had some moments that went a little fast and weren't totally clear, we also got insight into some long standing plot questions! Always love that. Basically this series continues to impress and I always want more.

This comic is really exciting! The beginning felt very rushed, but I think the pace got better by the end and I'm totally hooked by the story. Definitely going to catch up on the archives online ASAP. The characters are diverse and lovely, and I'm all about the premise of heroes that are totally not ready for the challenge they're facing.

The suspense just keeps building and making me want more from this series! Very creepy and intriguing.

This was a really beautiful and profound story. Sometimes a story feels like it touches the very core of storytelling, and this was one such story for me. Like a modern fable, it was at once fantastical and so real. The diverse collection of characters are quickly but precisely introduced, they are intertwined into a shared adventure and each emerges changed. Definitely a story that moved me at the core and I'm sure it will stay with me.
