I would give this novel 3 1/2 stars. It was historical and heart wrenching at times. It would be a good read for a book club.
Decent fluffy mystery! The book had some errors in it which was slightly annoying. Characters names were switched erroneously a few times and there were a couple of grammatical/spelling errors. My dislikes about the story was the way Mattheus' personality has evolved. I was expecting Cindy to tell him that their relationship was over. He was immature and sulky, not to mention controlling. Not healthy.
I'd give this novel 3 stars and I'm glad I read the last book in this series.
Loved this book! And simply adored Lincoln.
A heartbreaking memoir that is so well-written. The experiences of which Amanda Lindhout survived were so vividly horrible, the book was very difficult to read at times. Amanda's strength and resilience is tremendously admirable. She is a remarkable woman.
