I enjoyed this book and give it 3 1/2 stars. I couldn't put it down at the end. I can see why book clubs choose this novel because there are so many different themes to discuss, and so many messages about life....what's important, how to live it, and how the tough lessons learned as part of the journey mould us into better people.

I really enjoyed this adventure which is a true story! Especially since sailing is something I will never do...but the novel combined my love of the Caribbean with the dream of taking a sabbatical from work to travel. Even better that it is a Canadian couple from Toronto...Excellent writing and a few tempting recipes to try

What an amazing writer...John Green! A brilliant story with so much meaning...to be revisited over and over.

Disturbing content, however, Wally Lamb is a master at storytelling and certainly invoked emotions. I enjoyed the epilogue as it gave closure.

I'm a romantic, and as such, I really liked this story!

Loved this book! Super character development.
