This is my least favorite book from A&J

Even though the last 100 pages pissed me off this was a VERY WELL WRITTEN BOOK! I really think this would be a great mother and son read for a 16-19 year old young man. It really gives a viewpoint of the harsh reality we live in.

Quick hood novella. It was a good listen for my commute to and from work today. I love A&J!

First! WTH did I just read?!!! Second! Why is this the title and it has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BOOK! Gucci was a subpar co-star! This was the Reagan show! And I need the rest of the story!!!!!

The overall concept of the friends to lovers storyline was good. I LOVED how she incorporated a lot of POC routines such as wrapping our hair in silk scarves, mention of silk pillowcases to protect our natural hair. All the different ethnic food dishes. I could really visualize and appreciated all these mentions. The only thing that drove me bananas was the amount of ERRORS while reading. Book definitely could have used 1 or 2 more rounds with a proofreader/editor. Overall it was a good story. I’m always down for a happy ending.
