The overall concept of the friends to lovers storyline was good. I LOVED how she incorporated a lot of POC routines such as wrapping our hair in silk scarves, mention of silk pillowcases to protect our natural hair. All the different ethnic food dishes. I could really visualize and appreciated all these mentions. The only thing that drove me bananas was the amount of ERRORS while reading. Book definitely could have used 1 or 2 more rounds with a proofreader/editor. Overall it was a good story. I’m always down for a happy ending.
