between a four and a five - tension was PEAK

DRY. so DRY. the first little bit really had me set up for some bars but the whole thing repeated itself like 17 times, every chapter made the exact same point in 8 different ways before moving on. this was a literal marathon to get through.

i can never bring myself to just DNF a book when i paid whole ass money for the damn thing, and i can't leave it for too long before forgetting and having to start over. so i finished it (reluctantly).

can't believe that she has a whole little extra sequel type of book too, i can't see people loving this like they do. for me, it was giving very much white feminism and white people problems, not to say that sexuality isn't a legitimate struggle , but the depictions just didn't do it for me.
