A bunch of collected thoughts and sayings from Mooji that just say the same dumb thing over and over, basically transcendence over ego which sounds nice but means nothing. He insists multiple times that you are only unhappy because you can't see beyond yourself, which is not only wrong it can be harmful. He also says that death doesn't matter because you are the infinite and "This life is only for discovering and confirming this inside your heart. Amen." Which only applies if you believe in an afterlife and don't believe in helping people in this life, two things I fundamentally disagree with.
tl;dr he's kind of a smug asshole

As if I needed any more reasons to hate religion.
(I received this book as an ARC from firsttoread.com.)
Romina Russell has created a fantastical world populated with technology I am jealous of, beauty I wish I could see, and worlds I wish I could experience.
But more than this, she has created characters that resonated with me in a way that I rarely experience. The epic scope and scifi mastery of this book reminded me of Meyer's The Lunar Chronicles world. Russell has braided romance, technology, adventure, and astrology together in a perfectly engaging way.
CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH.

Simple, lyrical, touching.
Surprisingly modern and funny, it felt like the Da Vinci Code written by a redditor who spends all day making absurdist memes.
I can't even put this on my romance shelf because the couple doesn't do anything more than kiss chastely. The ending was weak and unsatisfying.
Hilarious, delightful, sexy.
Short but oh so powerful.
