I don't know if it's the book or the audio narrating that is so boring, but I'm marking this one unfinished at 1 hour 10 minutes.

I read half of this and didn't laugh once.

I thought this would be a fun little old-fashioned read, but it's just a boring reprint of an old letter writing guide.

Unfinished at page 55. Nothing wrong with the story, just super boring.

The point of view switching without any explanation is beyond obnoxious. Giving up at 1:42 because I don't care enough to guess who's speaking.

18% of the book was an introductory history of Ben Jonson. I made it through Act 1, but even with that history I still felt like I had no idea what was happening. I'd maybe read an annotated version.

This was unbelievably boring. Gave up on page 59.

I tried so hard to finish this, I really did.

I gave up at 59% in the middle of a chapter. That's how painful this was. I have never given up on a book this late, usually managing to soldier on for dint of my pride and my read books list.

No more. This was fucking awful. There was no plot, no character development, and was populated by the flattest most disagreeable characters I've ever encountered.

Too boring, even for bedtime reading. Maybe I'll pick it up again in the future. 18%.
