I don’t have the heart in me to give this book the attention that it deserves right now. It’s going back onto my TBR list for sure, I just don’t want to drag myself through it when I can just put it back on the shelf and give it its proper moment another time 🤍

First time using a new rating scale! This rating feels appropriate all things considered actually, I love these characters very much but for such a short story, it still felt like it was dragging to me and the plot felt largely unfinished. I understand that this book isn’t supposed to be as epic as the others but it doesn’t change that opinion of the plot and pace for me.

The format doesn’t work for me with the chapters really just being sections. I intend to reread this as an ebook instead, I liked the story but the format doesn’t work with how I use audiobooks 

Rating mid 4 because of the pacing of the book, but I think I’m realizing that this pacing is pretty on par with other books like this? I wouldn’t want it to be adrenaline filled and go go go the whole time either so I’m adjusting my expectations while acknowledging how I feel about the pace
