Everything Zane Frederick writes is beautiful, and this book is no exception. Reading this felt soft and achey and lovely, and attempting to pick a favorite poem from it would be impossible. They range from heartbreaking to hopeful, defiant to raw, but all are in Zane's unique and breathtakingly vulnerable style.

This book is excellent, but also discouraging and infuriating and sickening. But it's really very good, well-written, and well-researched. It clarifies a lot about misogyny--how we should define it, and how systemic it is--as well as outlining flaws in other people's arguments about what "doesn't count" as misogyny.

This book was excellent on every level. It's weird, hilarious, heartfelt, and brilliant. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it, and am very glad I read/listened to it. I'm generally not much of an audiobook person, but Daniel Lavery reads it extremely well, and I don't at all regret buying it in that medium.
