Sam's poetry is so beautiful, and her art is as well! This book has such a great mix of short and long pieces, and I'm so glad I got to read it.

This chapbook was stunning! D. Appel-Riehle is an amazing poet and I can't wait to read more of their work.

I've followed Hoznei Kane Houvre's work on Instagram for some time now (@hoznei on Instagram), and I've always loved his art and creativity. This book's whole vibe is wonderful--the poems, the art, everything about it. I read it in one sitting!

I'm so glad to have read this book; it really enriched my knowledge on transformative justice and community accountability, and I learned a lot that I can apply to my own relationships and politics as well. I would highly recommend this book!

This is one of my favorite books of poetry, full-stop. I read it in one sitting, and when I finished it I was speechless. Silas Denver Melvin has really outdone himself, and I cannot wait to read more of his work (and to re-read this book ASAP!).

DID NOT FINISH

I was assigned most of this book for a sociological theory course in college, but I ended up reading very little of it. I would try to read it, and struggle greatly with understanding it. Then my professor would explain it very well during lectures, and I would reread it and understand it just fine. So I stopped reading it and waited for my professor to explain it verbally. Then I would reread specific sections as needed, but I got an A in the class without ever really reading most of this book on my own.
