This is genuinely one of the craziest final "fights" in any manga nevermind Jojo's- just crazy??? Perfect ending imo and a great final battle though. Very extremely excited to get to stands however.

This whole part is so crazy what do you mean Asa's one and only friend turns herself into a devil and then dies after promising to see her again- just sick and twisted. Very good volume however.

Fuck, i've seen Battle Tendency twice and this is my second read through and Caesar's death STILL gets me so bad- absolutely stunning writing and panelling, what an important moment in the story, especially knowing how much Araki likes killing off characters. This feels like the first death (outside of Jonathan) to have a serious impact on everything going forward. Wonderful volume. Also some the the full colour panels here are gorgeous they went extra hard for this one and i'm glad they did.

Start to Part 2 and wow is it amazing! Asa is a fantastic character and a really solid foil to Denji, just as Yoru (or the War Devil) is to Chainsaw man. Plot is really interesting and the panelling as always is fantastic, Fujimoto you've done it again.

What a start to a finale- the beginning showing just how evil Makima really is, using all of Denji's damage (both caused by her and otherwise) to have total control over him. Power my goat :(

Designs are super cool, the weapon devils and the 'knights' being foreshadowing for part 2.

Anyway this is levels of peak unreached before- the twist with the gun devil being just a political war asset, Makima being the control (or dominance) devil, the amazing art, design and framing of the gun devil showing up and the final fight between the gun fiend and the Chainsaw man. Cannot even explain or describe just how good the 'snowball' fight it and how much it shows how Denji has developed. Absolutely soul destroying way to end a characters arc my God, Fujimoto you're sick. 

Battle Tendency really picks up after the fight with Santivento with Caesar (our jobro for this part) and Lisa Lisa- a lot of excellent fights and art here, you can see so much set up for what's to come with later parts in terms of plotting, abilities, characters and overall plot structure. I will say I'm glad Hamon wasn't continued after this part, but I do really like how it's expanded here. 

Some of the best art in this series and maybe any manga exists within this volume- everything done here is amazing and I can't say that much because of it. Between Hell, the Darkness Devil and the halloween moment it's just too good I fear.
