This was more of the same excellent stuff as the first- more emotional stuff going on this time which I really enjoyed. Everything flowed so well and I absolutely love love love the characters.

This was damn good, this knows exactly what it is and is proud of it. Every character here was fantastic and I absolutely love out FMC Jessica.
The character relationships and interactions felt very real and their dynamics really worked, nothing felt out of place and I like a lot of the ideas put forth here. Smut was great as well!

A magnificent conclusion to a magnificent trilogy- the scale is just amazing and the backstory is delivered in such a compelling way. Ending broke my fucking heart, perfect in every way.

This was an incredible second book- evolves everything the first starts in a way that flows and feels so naturally that it doesn't feel like a lore dump/shoehorned in.
Nassun is a real highlight here and Jemisin does a fantastic job of connecting characters and their behaviours in a believable way. Fantastic overall.

Had absolutely no idea what was happening half the time, could not tell you what that ending means, laughed out loud multiple times. 5 stars.

This was decent, if a bit too long- hit close to home for me personally. Cookie was a fun protagonist and the topics discussed were done well and with tact.

This was just so good- slow and a little confusing to start but when it clicks it clicks.
Excellent characters, plot and world building.

This was a lot of fun, well written and paced for how short it was I'm surprised at how much I like the characters in such a short time. Jessica our FMC and Manson (one of many MMC's) have a really fun, unique dynamic and I loved seeing how that translated to their current actions.
Smut was top tier (for me) and I enjoyed that 1. Consent was given all throughout 2. The author went out of her way to go into detail in her trigger warning list!
Can't wait to continue the series!

My third Coupland and my least favourite so far. This just feels like a poor imitation of 'Hey Nostradamus', while the former was compact and focused, this felt all over the place and messy. Almost none of the idea's here (while all good idea's, if a little... boring? Played out?) are given enough time to be fully expanded upon.
The characters were standard for Coupland, and I personally didn't feel a connection to them.
Saying all this, the writing and prose is gorgeous, almost lyrical at points and the plot when interesting was very interesting.
