This was brilliant satire at every level, expertly written. Bruce Robertson is a tour de force of a character and the worm is a fantastic counter to him. Fuck the police, fuck the filth.

This was just fantastic! What an excellent adventure using tried and true tropes and making them into something new. Manx is a fantastic fun villain who you can't help but hate and find hilarious in turn. Vic was a great protagonist and her relationship with Maggie was so good, the chapter that ends her arc in particular was so so so good.
The horror here was lowkey and still a gut punch.

This starts so slowly then after like 200 pages completely blows The Final Empire out of the water. Genuinely loved every plot and everyone's development, Vin and her "dog" really pulled and Sazed's whole arc destroyed me.
What a brilliant twist on the convention hero's journey, absolutely gagged by those last 100 pages. Also I teared up so much fuck you Sanderson.

This wasn't bad! Really liked Stella and found her and Christian's relationship to be Ava and Alex's but better written.
Plot was fine.

I'm so pleased that this has been my favourite so far, I loved Josh and Jules as side character's in the previous books and it totally makes sense their book is the best (imo), both of them felt very real and human in a way the other characters haven't so far.
Smut was right up my alley and their enemies to lovers thing worked so well for me, their relationship >>>
Plot wasn't too silly and characters were fun as always, sad to be already on the last book! I didn't know what Ana was cooking when I started these but she simmered and suffice to say, she cooked.

This was so much better than Twisted Games it's almost unreal- while I liked Ava slightly more than Bridget I absolutely loved Rhys, thought he was a much more palatable love interest and that his thinking made much more sense, really enjoyed that he was a LOT softer than Alex, good to see him admit his mistakes. I was really sold on their dynamic.
Plot wasn't as nonsensical as the last book and I loved the little connections with the previous and I'm assuming later books.
Character dynamics outside of the main one where really good too, I especially thought any Andreas scene was hilarious and hope for more comedy scenes later.
When I connected that Christian was THAT Christian and Rhys's employer I started kicking my feet, Ana Huang level of a mastermind.

Deeply, deeply unserious book. Plot was absolutely nonsensical in the best way and while Alex was beyond a red flag he was wild enough to be entertaining but let's be serious here, Ava was the real star of the show (and her brother). Loved the girls dynamics with each other and was very entertained throughout.

I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this! Fast paced with endearing characters, thought everything here worked reasonably and some of the prose was beautiful. Honestly wanted it to be longer.
