I mean... Does what it says on the tin?

I'm not particularly smart when it comes to poetry so all i'll say is that I really loved the titular poem and thought the rest were just ok.

A collection of short stories about the Tokyo Ghoul cast- I think this might be a translation issue but I didn't enjoy this at all, just very stilted and boring, with a lot of the information already being told to us in the main story. That being said my favourite story was Akira's, as I felt like this gave us some insight into her that was new and it helps that I just like her character a lot. The last line? Ate so hard, especially knowing she told Amon she hated him.

This was so good??? Holy shit??? What a great twist on the typical murder mystery, LOVED the themeing around Scrabble and the word play and the twist? Mwha. Najwa was fantastic and I really liked the rest of the characters, Trina is a haunter™️ and I love that type of narrative a lot, I also like that she wasn't a good person by any means, and the conversation about what love is and what it should be was so good. This was also shockingly sad? Like my stomach hurts thinking about it.

What the actual fuck is Sae's problem seriously. Love the art style and Momo however, even if she is gullible. So much of this is focused on Japan's beauty standards so I can't comment loads on that aspect of it but the characters drama is entertaining. Kiley SUCKS and Toji is a lot better.

This for sure isn't as strong as her first trilogy, and it takes so long to really start. It's overwritten in a lot of ways BUT the plot was really good and Jackson writes an excellent bad guy, fuck Oliver. Red was a good protagonist and I loved her and Arthur, Jackson always writes an excellent love interest! And the ending??? Gut punch. Ouch. Hurts. Overall it's fine i'd say? With a stronger second half than first.

In awe at how well crafted this is in every aspect, flowing and intricate and so damn sad, this was a brilliant little story with an excellent main character and a surprisingly deep love story. Just glorious in everyway.
