4 stars - I enjoyed this angsty installment in the ivy years series. There was so much drama that I felt very invested in the characters and the outcome of the story. I liked Bridger, Scarlet, and Lulu, too. Check TW/CWs.

4 stars - this was a fun read. A definite case of “as a book character it’s ok, but irl no way.” 😅🙈 I liked the characters, it was fun to see the twists and action packed parts. The dark romance isn’t my fave, and the ending felt just a little too long. Overall I liked it and will continue the series.

4 stars - this was cute! The MMC was a bit of a mess in this one too, but it didn’t feel as problematic to me. Overall it was funny and emotional. Very steamy. It was fun to see the characters from the series get their HEA.

3.5 stars - in some ways I liked this more than the first one, but the MMC was such a dummy. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I liked Honey and her roommates and the group as a whole. The chemistry and spice level were really high. But the MMC was making me angry and annoyed at equal turns. 😖 I think the ending saved it for me. We’ll see how the next one goes.

4 stars - this was cute and fun. It’s been a while since I’ve read a Tessa Bailey book. I really liked the characters and am looking forward to the other two books in the series.

3 stars - I enjoyed the angst and forbidden romance aspect of this book. The build up was good and the spice level seemed just right. I didn’t feel engaged at the end of the book, and the narration of the audiobook wasn’t my favorite. Just ok for me.

3 stars - this was cute. I enjoyed the setting: a Canadian lake house, and the premise: several single moms and their adult children spend the week together family reunion style. I found the build up steamy, but it fizzled out a bit for me towards the end. I thought the moms were a little unrealistic, and thought the conflict was a little boring and easily resolved.

3 stars - this was sweet and fun. I liked the mental health representation and discussions around depression. I wouldn’t normally choose a romance where the MC is a police officer, but I guess it made sense for the plot.

4 stars - this was sweet and fun. It was mostly predictable, but I enjoyed it a lot. I liked Corey quite a bit, this was maybe one of the first romances I’ve read with an MC in a wheelchair. The element of her working through her grief, life changes, and future added a lot of depth to the story.

3.5 stars - this started slow for me, but I ended up enjoying the medical mystery in the story. The FMC is a little bit bland, by design, which I didn’t find the most engaging. Once everyone started working together to solve the mystery it picked up a lot for me. All that said, I didn’t really care for the fae parts, despite my love of fantasy. 🤷🏻‍♀️
