i am the sun & moon of my own damn universe

this poetry collection was divided into two parts, dark & light. i do admit that i didn't really enjoy the first part, but i loved the second part much more. mckayla wrote beautiful poems about healing, self-love, and learning to love yourself and your body (again).

i also really appreciated both the trigger warning list at the beginning, and the suicide hotline/crisis line numbers at the end of the collection.

This is literally just 20 news stories summarised. Why would anyone even publish this? Also, filled with ableist slurs, though I guess I should have guessed that from the title.

this is a collection of poems about a pirate girlfriend and her SHARK mermaid girlfriend and it's the best

this collection was great, but "alright, so you say you care" and "when did grocery shopping start hurting so much & other questions i shouldn’t be asking" pretty much destroyed me

shout out to "i lost my sanity in a game of chess" as well
