This is a sweet F/F story between a lawyer and a writer. The mood swings gave me whiplash sometimes, and there was so much switching over the two perspectives that I sometimes didn't know which character I was reading, but it was still nice.
It gets some minus points for describing a Puerto Rican minor character as "exotic", and also a comment that makes it sound like OCD is just a personality trait and not a serious disorder.

It was strange to read in Hungarian again, but I loved this fantasy novel - a true fairy tale with all the rules and tricks of the faerie. It is also a complicated story of a family, and a lot of moral greyness. I had some issues towards the end, and sometimes the language felt off (some slang used by Emese didn't seem to fit the atmosphere), but I'm still very curious about the sequel. More Rabonbán please.

I read this when it came out but only just noticed it's on Goodreads.
A wonderful little interactive short story where you can date one of my favourite ace-spectrum characters (lizard boy!) from Chameleon Moon.
Although it's called Date the Lizard, you have the option to say you're aromantic and make it into a more platonic date.

I read A MAN'S WORLD and WHY MARRY? for class, and they were both breaths of fresh air after all the depressing stuff I read.
A MAN'S WORLD was absolutely delightful, I love Frankie, and I'm really glad that he didn't settle for that guy. I know this is set in the past and most men were like that, but she still deserves better.
I was a little disappointed by the end of WHY MARRY?, but before that it had great discussions and scenes and it was just really funny and lively.

I had mixed feelings about the first half, but the last several chapters were just... messy and confusing and not enjoyable? I kept waiting for it to be over. And now it is, so yay.
tw: ableist slurs, some homophobia, child molestation, and possibly some other stuff I can't be bothered to remember

good for Janet, I say! good for her!
I got halfway through this book and I didn't care at all about any of the characters or the plot
I also promised myself I wouldn't keep forcing myself to read books I don't enjoy, so there's that
