Honestly, the last line ruined it. It was sort of unnecessary and almost... comical?
I really liked the first half of this story, the flashback about the protagonist and her girlfriend. But I really wasn't feeling the horror part of it.

This short story really felt like it was part of a bigger whole instead of standing on its own - it would have been interesting to read it as a full-length novel. This way, it felt more like a sneak peek to be honest. It was definitely hot, though.

This was overall a cute story, but often felt awkward and rushed, plus I really couldn't relate to the main character's horror at one of the "twists".

This story was okay. Just... okay. Not bad, but a little rushed and nothing really special. It says "to be continued" though, so maybe it gets better later?
This was a wonderful sci-fi f/f short story. I can't say much about it without spoiling it, but it had several of my favourite tropes and I loved all the descriptions. Plus, the cover is simply beautiful.
