Bishop and Colin are great. there was a bit more Catholicism than I would have liked, but the romance and the relationships were nice, and the witch whose name I can't spell for the life of me seems interesting. Bishop is my favourite nonbinary brujo they're so good
emotional mysterious reflective

a marvelous book about books and booksellers, a mystery told in parallel timelines, with a hint of magic. i enjoyed all those parts, but wow, some of the things the female characters went through were brutal, and very difficult to read about. also, I'm left with at least one open question, and I'm not sure if it's meant to be open or if I just didn't understand something.

i spent the last four or so chapters crying. a marvelous, complicated story about a woman who knew how to play Hollywood's game, and about a queer family. every twist was amazing and I love Evelyn, Harry and Celia so much.
