Why I picked it up: I was promised great asexual representation.

What I thought: It definitely delivered on the representation issue. It was refreshing to read about characters who outright said they were asexual, and it also included someone figuring out their sexuality by researching, and addressed several stereotypes. All in all, it handled asexuality, and exploring your sexuality very nicely.

I have to admit I had mixed feelings about the book as I read it, but I came out with mostly positive feelings in the end. The writing was clumsy at times - the phrasing sounded a little forced, or the timeline of the events felt rushed. There wasn't really a story as such, but somewhere halfway I realised that there didn't have to be. It was enough to get lost in the magical romance of these two asexual girls who love each other very much. Their relationship together made me a little jealous and left me wishing I could cuddle my own girlfriend. Thanks, Calista Lynne.

I kinda wish we had seen more of Reeves, and his ending didn't go the way I expected it to go, but I think I like it? I think? A little conflicted, but I'm leaning towards positive.

Do I recommend it: If you want a light read about girls in love, exploring your sexuality, and mending your relationship with your best friend, then definitely. If you're looking for a quick-paced story, then no.

My rating: ★★★★☆

That... alright.

This book gets the five stars, but I have to admit the end of it was a bit of a letdown. Too open, I suppose? I would have preferred to see Leo reuniting with the others, maybe introducing Calypso, and also see more of Will and Nico. Both those relationships feel a little... out of the blue.

Still, those are just the "just finished reading five seconds ago" feelings. I might have a different opinion later, but yeah, for now, that was a bit of a disappointment.

I am incredibly tired, but I didn't want to take a break with so little left, so I pushed myself through the end. And... huh.

Conclusion: Great book, I love everyone, but needs more Nico. Very curious to see how it all ends.

This is a Halloween short story full of creepiness - which obviously means plenty of our favourite (?) ghost boy, Hans, and our favourite puppeteer, Jenny Strings. Also, ghosts. Or are they?

I actually have a huge soft spot for Hans despite his behaviour, but man, that kid tests me sometimes.

While many of the short stories are prequels, this one takes place after Chameleon Moon and actually contains several spoilers for it, so be aware of that before reading it.
I have so many questions. How did Hans get here when he was with Garrett? Where is Rose? How did she still not find Evelyn and the others when they are in the most logical place they could be?

Have I mentioned how beautiful the cover is?
