So, correct me if I'm wrong, but was the message of this book about how women are not heard in society, in the past or today, and that to be heard we use our social wiles to create a scene?
Whether or not this is the true message, I still really enjoyed this book. I love books that are like, "Oooh, is this actually a supernatural occurrence or not?" and leaves a lot of it up to the reader to decide. Also, the setting of this book was quite familiar, as I attended an all-girls, Catholic, high school. We didn't have (many) nuns and priests as teachers, but the descriptions and the characters were pretty spot on!

Very cute and funny, much like their YouTube channel. Besides the cute comics, there are also great tips about Japan and its customs. Great little things to learn if you're going to visit!

Ok, so this one is my favorite overall. Grace is starting to get into her art style and share more about her life's lessons, be it from Japan or other occurrences. She should look into becoming an inspirational speaker for women and couples, because she has some great advice for both! She and Ryosuke are adorable and I love her views on their relationship. Totes adorbs!

Aaaand then I flew through this third book by Grace with further comics (her art is getting better) and fun anecdotes. Not as soul-bearing as the last one, but still really cute!

Whoever does the art for the Earth One comics is the best. I LOVE the art!

These books are always so great, but we get a little more depth into their relationships with their parents.

Well, I don't know how things are nowadays, but I can tell you that I don't want to be a female employee in the business world of Japan circa 1991! I'm sure things haven't changed much, but I hope things are more progressive for women. I'll just remain a tourist, thank-you.

This book will definitely make you hungry! I think food critics go a little over the top with outrageous adjectives, but I suppose when you're describing a food you like, there's only so many ways you can tamely say "it was good". It is also some great history into some of the foods and how they came to be. A great book if you want to read more into the major, popular, and delicious foods of Japan!

Despite it taking me almost an entire year to finish this, I swear I was really into it! Many things happened, many of those things made me question Jamie. Seriously, Jamie? Seriously? Also, many characters come back! Some of them were SUPER CREEPY, some of them F*#$ING ANNOYING. Anyway, on to the next adventure!
