Conversion

So, correct me if I'm wrong, but was the message of this book about how women are not heard in society, in the past or today, and that to be heard we use our social wiles to create a scene?
Whether or not this is the true message, I still really enjoyed this book. I love books that are like, "Oooh, is this actually a supernatural occurrence or not?" and leaves a lot of it up to the reader to decide. Also, the setting of this book was quite familiar, as I attended an all-girls, Catholic, high school. We didn't have (many) nuns and priests as teachers, but the descriptions and the characters were pretty spot on!
