This book is going to stick with me for a long, long time. The further along I got into this book the angrier I got with how the film neutered anything challenging or meaningful from this story.

Jumped on this after reading Podany's earlier book, Brotherhood of Kings and wow, am I glad I did. This book improves on Brotherhood by providing a more well-rounded view of life in the Ancient Near East. Accounts from people of all social strata make the cuneiform texts at the heart of this book come to life. Very human and engaging!

A cyberpunk novel with some really cool and interesting ideas written by your gross uncle. Worth a try if you're interested in the history of sci-fi/cyberpunk or if you want a peek at the future Mark Zuckerberg and Peter Thiel want.
