Okay at first I admit, I was a little meh at the beginning and then it picked up FAST. Just a warning, there is one heck of a cliff hanger, and I am needing book 3 like yesterday!

-Plot: 9.3/10 There is just a lot of mystery which makes the reader feel on the edge of your seat!

-Spice: 9.9/10 (***POTENTIAL SPOILERS***) It can be a bit rough at times and not in the sexy way, sometimes I just wanted Vera to understand how Jaren feels and just hold the poor guy and be more loving to him every now and then LOL!

Overall: 9.5/10 I shaved off .5 just because I am needing book 3 THAT bad :D

The worst part about this book is that there isnt more of it to read!!!!! Such a fun short story of Hades & Persephone!

This started so slow, but after a little bit omg did it pick up! And it always left you guessing everything took me by complete surprise, and the ending left me with my heart in my throat, I need more I need to know what happens next!

•Plot: 9/10 Slow start but then the plot picks up.

•Spice: .5/10 I wouldnt really call it spice, you get lead up to it and then have to fill in the blanks.

•Overall: 9.5/10 I was promised spice and got none but honestly the story held my attention anyways and really kept it, I just wanted to keep reading!

Well.. now I definatly know there may be something wrong with me, because I liked this story WAYYY too much lol!! The spice, the plot (which is Zaddy of course! LOL!)

Plot: 9/10 - I do like the plot although it is pretty heavy, but that's not the reason for deducting a point, I will put that far below in the spoiler section.

Spice: 9.8/10 - It was GOOD there was only 2 things against it, 1) I feel like I need a chiropractor for the second hand neck pain from how often he gripped it LOL 2) I wish he would treat her nicer, it's fine for the dirty to be rough, but my preference would be a little sweet in the mix (but that's just me which is why only .5 deducted lol)

Overall: Like I said, this book was having me want to ask Daya to pass me a shot too because I was sitting there rooting for Zade and then half way was like... mayyybeee I need to call my therapist LOL!!!

The big thing in the plot that bugged me was Mark and how he had info on Gigi, it kind of felt like a cop out because how would a 10 year old remember so much that was talked about? I can't remember crap from childhood and I am only 29 LOL!

I don't know Ruby Dixon personally, but holy heck can she write about aliens in a way that just makes my own ku- ahem, heart just throb! Before reading any of this series I saw BookTok talking about these aliens and something about spurs (iykyk! LOL!) Finally I was like I see Star Wars references and I bought the first book and now as soon as these Berkley editions go up I am pre-ordering!! This book is no different, each story is great in their own way with each girl and big blue guy's story! And all of the women have such different personalities its hard not to find a favorite to feel "similar" to personality wise. It's also awesome that one you get attached to appears sporadically!

-Plot: 10/10 I don't know how Ruby does it but each plot just makes sense with each story, none overlap or become redundant, or even repetitive! This plot made a LOT of sense, it's hard to describe without spoilers but PLEASE be aware the most triggering topic of this book is r*ape, and how the survivor has overcome her trauma, there are not great details, but I just want to mention as it is talked about a little.

-Spice: 10/10 OMG!!!! This one is so sweet with how he loves her (I don't want to say who although it will become very apparent lol.)

-Overall: 10/10 I don't usually like to give 10's because sometimes the balance of spice and plot are all over with romantasy's but not with Ruby in my honest opinion! You get the perfect amount of both!

I liked Love Hypothesis, but I LOVED this book even more! I felt like I could really connect with Bee (unfortunately even down to the 6mo to a wedding and then a "friend" turns it upside down...) with the love of Star Wars, and her personality overall! :)

The banter was fun, and the plot was great and the spice was nice! ;) Now usually I like books to have...a lot of spice, but I was so wrapped up in reading the plot I kind of forgot about spice and when there was it was well worth the wait. LOL!

-Plot: 4.8/5 (I wish there was just a weeeee bit more at the end, it felt a bit rushed compared to everything else.)
-Spice: 4/5 (WAYY more than a Colleen Hoover book, but less than A Court of Silver Flames)
-Ease of Read: 4.9/5 (The only hinderance was there were a couple items that had me going "The oodie what-ie?" I have some medical background so a lot of items I knew which helped! :) )

Okay so this book grabbed my attention from the start, and it was one of those books that once I started reading it I was like "this is going to break me" and my fellow book reader I must say, get your heart ready for this. And don't do what I did in the last few chapters and listen to 'My Heart Will Go On' Cover by Corvyx because I am still bawling my eyes out trying to type this..

I hope that there really was two men named Achilles & Patroclus, who loved each other deeply, and I hope where ever they are now, it's together.

-Plot: Madeline followed the story of Achilles and Patroclus closely to the stories we have all grown up with, a couple of changes, but if you didn't know them they only make the plot better. I only wish she showed Patroclus as stronger.
-Spice: None - but it was still has many sweet moments.
-Overall: I did not expect this book to grab my heart in its pages and squeeze. Although I LOVE Greek history, and knew what would inevitably happen, I still was on the edge of my seat rooting for these two men, and for their love.. in the end I was just a sobbing mess, but honestly the ending was so sweet which just had me crying even harder. <3

I laughed, I cried, I laughed, I said "WHAT?!?" aloud a couple of times too. This book was really good! Seeing the characters develop more, and growing close to them as well.

Plot: 4.5/5 The story line progressed in a way that I wasn't able to guess what would happen next, there were twists and turns that just added to the story in a great way! I can't wait to see what happens next on the adventure!

Spice: 4.5/5 hot spicy peppers! And even a funny spice scene that had me chuckling!

Overall: 4.9/5 I really enjoyed this story! The only set back was the repetitive use of nicknames - that is totally a me thing as a reader, regardless, I totally recommend the read!!!!

I knew I would love this since Scarlett wrote it, but even for a "short" story I just kept wanting more of it! I was so sad to see the story end. I can't wait for the spinoffs!

Plot: 10/10 the story was a perfect balance of retellings from the classics, with a St. Clair twist on things that just keeps a reader enthralled to know what comes next!

Spice: 10/10 The peppers were peppering on this one!

Overall: 10/10 it was a fun read, and I enjoyed the plot that goes with that steam ;)
