I really enjoyed this book and felt honored to be able to read it as an ARC reader!

The first chapter absolutely had me hooked in, and then when this tall dark and handsome guy came in I couldn't absorb the words fast enough to learn more about him, and see what would happen next!
*Spice level* - To me measured out to be a ACOMAF level (which was perfect for the first book.)

*5 Star Plot* - I felt like the plot was solid! And the end made me want more, I need answers dang it!! (I felt like Charlie Day in the mail room putting the pieces together, iykyk!)

*All the pro's what are the cons?* The only thing I can really think of is one of the fights confused me a little, but it could be how my imagination was trying to capture it.. there were a couple of characters that I hope we get a little more back story later in the series, they were intriguing and made me want to know some of their story. Like why were X, why did they Y, who are they to Z.

*Recommend?* 10/10 would recommend to a friend!

I felt like if King of Battle & Blood had a love child with FBAA, and a bit of A Court of Mist & Fury sprinkled on top, you have Of Shadow and Moonlight!

I DNF'd this book - but I want to try it again in the future.

So at first I wasn't sure because of the hype behind the book, 3 chapters later I am GLUED to the book, I look at the clock and see it's only 9pm I can read a while longer then what felt like 20mins later i look again and its 3am! (Ooopsies!) Such a good read that keeps you guessing!

Honestly I was hesitant, and this book sat in my TBR list for a long time because I heard such mixed reviews on TikTok - then I got in in my July Bookish Box (Holy HECK is their edition of it BEAUTIFUL!) so I figured I would move it up my list and read it. I am SO glad I did!

Non Spoilers - The book is very well written and easy to follow with a great plot! There were a couple times where I was a little bit confused about the choices the MC made until I saw how it played out into the plot.
