A collection of poetry that takes a sharp view of millennial life without being overly cynical or annoyingly naive.

A good read. A lot of it is focused on perfectionism caused by painful or dysfunctional families, but the book is useful for perfectionists of all kinds. I really liked the last two chapters on what emotionally healthy relationships and families, and on the characteristics of a healthy person with perfectionist tendencies. Those by themselves actually made the entire book worth the read, and the previous chapters were pretty good too.

Llama Llama is having a hard day having to go shopping with mama. Fortunately, she understands and gives Llama some perspective.

Devastatingly amazing, and so important.

This is a must-read, an incredible collection of essays spanning the breadth of the American immigrant experience.
