A great science book for little kids! (And it includes a prompt to eat your vegetables!)

An adorable book that's a great way to get kids to engage with nature! Eva goes to the park with her friend Ruby and they see a wonderful bird that sparks Eva's interest in bird watching and being in nature.

Martins brings a unique voice to his short stories which revolve around favela life and experience. He draws you into these stories with their grit and complexity, giving us the reality of life in the Brazilian favela, in all its facets

I believe the appropriate phrase here is "small but mighty". This book is a 120-page emotional rollercoaster. Neuvel does what he always does ever so excellently: takes a social question to another level to show us where and who we are.

These poems span the breadth of the black American experience, from body image, to racism, to code switching, to love, speaking to all aspects of daily life, sometimes in its most mundane, but also in the cognitive dissonance that it is to be black in America. Yet these poems are also hopeful in their outlook, and at times humorous and light-hearted in their content and style. I really loved the variety of subject for each poem, switching from deeply personal experiences, to experiences that are stamped upon the collective consciousness of black folk in the western world.

Great on audio with the full cast giving you added depth to the story.

A great book about having a hard day, where you just don't feel like yourself. I liked that this was a good way to talk about big emotions

Cute little story about the variety of simple things that make someone have a good day.

I love how unique and interesting each of these mysteries is!
