A riveting collection of stories where everything is just slightly off-kilter...just enough to be jarring, but not so much that things are unbelievable. Each story is unique and leaves you wanting more.

I would like more of these, thanks.

This was so amazing. I loved the combination of history and poetry to tell this story of the Chicago riots in 1919. The writing was so immersive and evocative and brought depth to the historical report that was its inspiration. Really I just wanted more of it.

So, so much to think about. Also, I loved the variety of formats of the poems!

An adorable story about being stuck inside during the rain, when you want nothing more than to be outside playing soccer. Def add to your collection of kids books!

A lovely collection of short poems that capture the complexity and range of emotions of motherhood. Some funny, some sad, some sweet, some thoughtful, there's a bit of everything here.
I'm not broken / I'm simply an orange / in a basket of apples / trying my best / to look red

A wonderful story about bad moods, how they grow, and how to make them go away.

I really liked this mixed-form collection about Lucy Negro, and her possible links to Shakespeare's sonnets
