The romance was slow burn which is fine it can be done well but it took kit 3/4th of the book to tell her who he was.

A day later he married her 

The last third of the book was rushed and I wish it was better planned out 


I loved the concept and the idea of the book! The mythology I did NOT care for there was random moments like ohyes this is magical I forgot 


The ending is giving iron flame and I hate it so much I do not want to read the second one LOL

I read this after I read sunrise on the reaping so I really had no care for snow tbh fuck him.

This is the ONLY book in the whole series that’s 3rd person which is so odd imo 

This was a snooze fest and the audio book was so bad 😭

I was listening to the dramatized audio book of this so it was instantly so much better it felt like I was listening to a tv series but I am hooked

4.5! I honestly really enjoyed it! this doesn’t read like a v.e Schwab book no time back and fourth no magical powers (well a little bit) but just a house (I guess two) and very eerie vibes

I absolutely loved it!! I love how it shows the struggles of an artist in the industry!!

The enemies to lovers happened so quick I wish there was a little more of a build up suddenly they were like omg I love you 

I also feel like I didn’t see much into Noah’s family. We saw struggles with Sages but not so much into Noah’s.

The SPICE THREW ME OFF GAURD, I liked it but OH 

Black Canadian, sci-fi, fantasy what’s not to love??

The first 100 pages were boring sooo much back story which I understand is needed but I was falling asleep 

Once I got past that it got a lot better.

The choice that Voya made at the end was questionable… I feel like she’s in her villain ark or something

So when the does kinks show up?

the reason the love interests are into each other In the first place is because of their kinks but the smut scenes are just a little more than vanilla. Everyone told me this is SMUTTY and it’s not LOL I was expecting A LOT WORSE 🤷‍♀️

The second half was constant time skipping 1 month later, 3 months later, November, December I got so confused and lost 

I did like the concept of the book
