I absolutely loved out on a limb and this one I love just as much.

The writing is witty and funny and I’m obsessed with these two they felt like REAL people with real problems they’re facing in their life idk this book just felt like a warm hug. I laughed I cried I related to Sarah soo much

So all these people are 30 years old when they act 17… the main character Joy is hung up on her best friend for the last 10 YEARS and never told him how she feels???

“Why does he get to hug you and I don’t?” :< -summer  it’s giving discord mod “where’s my hug” and I hate it

Besides all that incredible ace rep, I kicked my feet giggling and cried and I want moreee I stayed up until 3:30am reading this…

3/5

Idk where to start it’s at least better than the second and things actually happened, the middle of the book was actually decent and there was random things that got thrown at us that didn’t make any sense

We got other POV’s at the end that just pissed me off I really did not care what the others were doing then. Give us POV’s all the time or give us none pls and thx

Ending was rushed unexplained “oh I don’t remember the last 12 hours and why do I have a ring” just pmo

I went in with 0 expectations as I’ve heard this series is MID

It’s a duel pov with the two sisters and I’m struggling to tell who is who, I genuinely had to make a spread sheet on who has what power, who’s in what house etc.

The whole controlling, power dynamic, non consensual thing annoys me and it irks me the wrong way. I think there is a way of doing “bullying romance” correctly but there’s some fine ass lines of sexual assault and “bully romance”.

Is the writing fantastic? No but am I obsessed? Yes

I had whiplash of emotion from beginning to end

a cozy horror studio ghibli style book, if you liked “The spellshop” you would like this, it is very similar writing style and vibe

The main character is lowkey kind of a bitch but I understand where she’s coming from she’s stubborn and determined to prove to everyone they’re wrong but there is character development which I love to see.

There is also no chapters in this book?? There I break points but no chapters it completely through me off.

The story is lowkey kinda predictable but it was cozy interesting definitely something I’ve never read before

I COULD NOT PUT THIS DOWN

The writing style is quick and to the point and it’s perfect

The beginning of this book has probably the best hook I’ve ever read I was instantly intrigued

Being in the fmc’s head and how she thinks and profiles people is *chefs kiss* I love being in her brain

The character building is lowkey bad, I’m having a really hard time visualizing anything 80% of the time :/ I wanted to like this, I like the idea and premise but also there’s no plot? The timeline is weird something happens then it’s, we go to bed, then we wake up, next chapter could be 3 month or 3 years later idk

I enjoyed this a lot more than I imagined I would tbh!!!

It would be a 5 star if they were so god damn horny all the time

And the ending felt rushed
