A 3.5 read but a 4 star book to analyse
The analysis and reflection of the book was more interesting that the actual process of reading it

Great and evocative writing but there’s not much to the story. And reading this after the recent ‘Fall of the House of Usher’ series I thought this book would follow similar plot points, or be even better. That is my own fault, but it still doesn’t change the disappointment I felt reading this. It’s still an important piece of fiction, there’s no doubt about that.
