I loved this book to pieces.
The chemistry between the characters, the banter, THE SMUT!? Miss Kennedy is really upping up the heat!!! And it only makes me more excited for book 3 (can I have it now!?)
I loved that all the big conflicts weren’t within the relationship but outside life stuff, it made this book feel so real and refreshing. I love both Diana and Shane, having insights on the Off Campus daddies was a delight (I will never get enough of it), and I have zero notes. Love, love, love!

Officially DNFing after putting it down since June 2024 and only being forced to pick it up because my book club chose it.
It’s not a BAD book but I was honestly not interested in anything happening and I could not tell you each characters personality because it just blends.
I also don’t care for Shakespeare so all the Shakespearean stuff bored me to death.
I did enjoy the fae aspect and when we got to see faes in action my attention was completely on the book, but it was sadly not enough.

The book is as fun as this cover 😍 I loved having a POC FMC and how strong and smart she was. Aiden was the perfect MMC in a hockey romance: the captain of the team and golden boy, for whom hockey has always been a priority until now 😌
This was a very fun and fast read, filled with tons of banter and fun spice, and I cannot wait for more in this series!!!

The way I was soooo excited the second it was announced that not only a Latinx man but a Colombian one would become the MMC for one of my favorite authors I lost my shit!!! Colombians don’t get much Rep and when we do it’s usually not in a good light, but Ana Huang managed to make Xavier such a likable and well rounded character that didn’t fall into any of the gross Hollywood stereotypes of both Latinx and Colombian men.
His chemistry with sloane was through the roof and the spice was spicing!!! I had a different idea of how this dynamic would pan out but I’m glad I was wrong because this banter between a golden retriever and a black cat was soooo much better!
Sloane’s personal story was also really good and showed a lot of insight into who she is, and the growth arc both characters had was so well done.
As always: I’m obsessed.
