This book was super disappointing and I definitely will not be reading the sequel.

I don't understand how a book with three magical sisters fighting over a throne would be boring but it was. There's an unnecessary amount of romance, love triangles and relationship betrayals without any characters development which left me shrugging and not caring about every "twist." The ending didn't justify the previous 95% of the book which I had to force myself through.

The cover is gorgeous and the beginning was awesome but...As soon as the book did a flashforward and picked up from there,it got pretty tropey. The cool sociopathic girl who stood out turned kinda tropey. It really turned me off and it started to lag...DNF 2/3 of the way through

I didn't like it as much as the first book but I still really enjoyed it. I just really didn't like the kinda love triangle and all the ghost/spiritual stuff but will def pick up the next book when it comes out.

This was a cute book. I saw the ending come from page one but it was a cute fluffy book. It didn't hit me the way The Sun Is Also A Fire but this book would definitely be good to help get out of a reading slump.

I'm so glad I reread this book! I am absolutely in love with Agatha and her relationships with everyone! Her sassiness and growth was honestly fantastic. I really enjoyed all the issues raised by the author in this book and I am super eager to see/hope they are challenged in book 2 and 3. Sophie is such annoying twit but I love her character--she's ridiculous and stubborn and always blaming others--and sadly is a representation of people in the world. This book made me want to marathon the books that are out

I don't know how I feel about this book. It raised a lot of issues and stereotypes that were never actually dealt with in this book. I'm definitely going to read book 3 right away and I hope it wrap everything up and deals with the blatant sexism laced throughout this whole book.

I didn't find that I particularly liked any of the characters in this book--sad since I loved Agatha so much in book 1...I also HATE Tedros...like with a burning passion

Ugh *annoyed eye twitch* I wish this series would've been a stand alone. The girls are beyond annoying so DNF at 40%. It didn't feel like there was any evaluation of the ridiculous stereotypes and tropes raised in book two and book three. I want to drop kick Tedros into another dimension and slap both Sophie and Agatha. The long...Triangle/square/Pentagon or w/e it is was just WAYYYYYYY too drawn out. Done with the series

This book is the definition of mindfuck! I don't understand how Neil Gaiman writes such unique books! As an atheist, I am absolutely fascinated by religion and as a history graduate, I am absolutely fascinated with mythology and Vikings so this was right up my alley! A very weird and unique book that everyone should read! I really loved Shadow...And Wednesday was such an interesting character. Very excited for the TV show!

I finally read it and I finally get the hype! I love all the mythology and the mixing of their world with the human world.

I'd say a 3/3.5 out of 5 stars. I mean a deadly game of dodgeball is always a good start to a book. It was a good book but it felt like more of a filler book to extend the series. The only thing I found super interesting was the VERY VERY end...and I wanted more Camp Half Blood. I do love Tyson though
