Despite my struggles with YA fantasy novels, I quite enjoyed this but it lacked that Russia-like feel that was the reason I originally picked it up.

This was AMAZINGLY translated into English! I am absolutely shocked at the cleanliness of that.

Loved the story!

Okay people kept telling me this is "just as funny as Red, White and Royal Blue." They're lying. By no means a bad book but didn't meet my want for comedy. I loved the characters and the atmosphere around them and even the conflict figuring out who Jane is and how she is on the train. Ending was cute and I definitely liked August as a main character.

Good but nothing wildly unique really. Don't regret reading it but I don't think I'll read a sequel.
