Today I learnt: Find yo self a rich feminist with daddy issues.

But for real, I read this in one sitting and stayed up until 2:30 am to finish it. And now I'm in this place of hell where I have to wait a year for the next book. This is what happens when your pre-order comes early and you have no self control so you read it right away.

I just loved the characters and Annabelle having a background of not being like this pure virginal angel. I felt so bad for her near the end when crap just picked up nonstop to screw her over. I cannot wait for the next book with Lucie! She continuously peaked my interests in every scene she was in. I'm wondering if we'll get a book about Sebastien's brother now too. He could be a fantastic hotmess POV.

Okay I tried this book twice and I just...what am I missing?! Why don't I care at all about the plot or characters or anything?!...It has elements I normally love but I was SO DAMN BORED reading this

Wild ride

This was pretty good. I enjoyed most of it. It felt laggy a little bit in the middle but very solid ending. I don't know that i'll read the rest of the series but it's by no means a bad book.

it felt like I waited for FOREVER for this to get published and then more FOREVER for my library hold to come in but it was so worth it. There's just something about this series that makes me adore it and all the characters.

Oh boy...this was me trying to read out of my comfort zone. I do like some romances so I thought I'd give this a shit but WOW did I not realize how cheesy, tropey, and telenovela-ey it was going to be. I literally burst out laughing at several parts (where it was clearly not supposed to be funny). Just not for me but I'm sure it's for other reader!
