Dawww the squirrel cat is becoming more than just a dick!

A good plot with lots of adventuring and enjoyable characters that was unable to get a 5 star rating because of the romance that felt pushed, underdeveloped and completely not needed.

The emotional turmoil I felt in this book for the squirrel cat!!!...

I feel violated and emotionally manipulated by like...every character! I was absolutely panicked for the last quarter and I genuinely don't know what I am supposed to feel about his sister! I WANT TO SLAP HER SO BAD and then the ending got all...I don't know! Now I'm scared for Crownbreaker!

*exhale sigh* this series is wonderful...

Traci Chee has such amazing writing. This whole topic and period of time felt handled with care.
