a little bit outdated but there's some pretty good pieces in here. still, some statements were straight up incorrect even for the time - and negated by other chapters in the same book... always interesting to read about something "niche" like this! if one could ever call BL niche.

생각보다 훌륭한 에세이가 많다. 선생님의 견해를 다 동의하지 않았는데도 논문을 쓸 때 도움이 될 것 같다 ^^
lots of well written and important sources for anyone who studies BL or just likes reading it. I think this should be required reading for BL fans, to learn about the history of the genre and reflect more on why it's so compelling.
