very sweet and a lovely depiction of life in Japan as a deaf and disabled person. I can kind of see where the story's going from here but it's not blatantly obvious so there's still some wish to continue reading. was very pleased to find this in my local library! 

ok this was actually potentially the most heartwarming BL I've read since sasaki and miyano which is impressive. nearly hurt my heart the way reading w/w fiction does,, hoping that season 2 tackles homophobia well but from what we have so far I think the author knows what they're doing. big props for more beefy men also.

perfectly adequate beastman bl. no i don't care that my rl friends can see that i've read this. it's all worth being reminded i read this at the end of the year on my wrapped, frankly

anyways just v funny to have the authors note at the end basically be them going "wow i love beefy bottoms <3 so does my artist <3 we love beefy bottoms <3 muscle men ftw <3" like ur so right !! correct opinion !! glad the world of bl is being expanded to include beefy bottoms finally. bara enjoyers ur time is coming

fun little series of vignettes but there's something missing... works better as a shorts series I think.

i simply do not understand why this is so beloved by today's bl crowd. the art style isn't for me but that's an easy pass since it's consistent and well-proportioned. my main issue is with the frankly bland characters. i could've finished reading this in a day or two but i literally took 5 months out in between because i couldn't bear to look at their faces again. jinx is oddly compelling in comparison, even with it's frustrating lack of character development. 

one of my stars goes generally towards mingwa's sheer persistence and drive in putting this out. another one goes to the secondary couple, and it could've been two more if only for their side-story's plot. i'd have much preferred having the old sub's surprise backstory removed, and have it be a much more introspective look at chanwoo and md's relationship as well as their personal lives. 

as an extra point: i saw mingwa's interview with lezhin on youtube, and as soon as she said she grew up in a household that completely restricted porn it all made sense to me. I will not elaborate here but miss mingwa i hope it all goes well for you out there. please don't make jinx 120 chapters. 

generally a fascinating bl to read. i love reading novels w horribly sadistic/masochistic characters, and this does hit the spot regarding that! the author's use of the historical setting is quite effective also. it's hard to not feel pity for nakyum. but i won't lie - it does get a little frustrating as a reading experience. i'm chalking it up to the fact that this is a piece that should be read in short bursts, due to its origin in serialisation, but all the same... byeonduck does know how to write an erotic sex scene though!

very quick reread for... academic reasons...

still a very good psychological thriller. is this a BL? who can say. certainly not koogi, who hasn't been certain of it since perhaps before publishing.
