generally a fascinating bl to read. i love reading novels w horribly sadistic/masochistic characters, and this does hit the spot regarding that! the author's use of the historical setting is quite effective also. it's hard to not feel pity for nakyum. but i won't lie - it does get a little frustrating as a reading experience. i'm chalking it up to the fact that this is a piece that should be read in short bursts, due to its origin in serialisation, but all the same... byeonduck does know how to write an erotic sex scene though!
