I know I'm in the minority, but I really don't enjoy Yuta's character. 

For such a short book, it absolutely packed a punch. In under 200 pages, Griffith constructed a beautiful work with rich, diverse characters. While I know just the basics of Arthurian legend, the writing pulled me in and made me want to know more and make the connections from the traditional myth and this retelling.

I'm a little conflicted in my thoughts on this one. On one hand, I love the characters and their interactions/relationships with one another and found them to be genuinely interesting; the story concept was intriguing as well. On the other hand...the first 60% of the book dragged so heavily that I had to force myself though it. Once I hit the 60% mark though, it felt like the pacing of the book shifted entirely - in a good way. 

While the pacing brought the enjoyment down for me, I'm still very much interested to see where the next book takes the group. 

If Alix E. Harrow only has one fan (she has way more than that, deservedly so), I am that fan. In only 31 pages Harrow tells an absolutely stunning, yet heartbreaking, story filled with strength, sadness, betrayal, and hope. Gorgeous writing and character development (seriously, how does she do this in just 31 pages?!?) as always. 

This was my favorite so far! This series is absolutely adorable and I love seeing the world come together and Suma's relationships with her co-workers evolve.
